Søren has been a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the West Suffolk Hospital, Bury St. Edmunds, one of Cambridge University Teaching Hospitals since 1995. He qualified in Denmark and his higher specialist training was undertaken in Edinburgh.
With more than 25 years medical experience, he is a highly qualified orthopaedic surgeon specialising in a a full range of orthopaedic and trauma surgery. Treating in the region of 2,500 patients every year and he is committed to providing a high quality service to his patients.

Having lectured to many surgeons, written numerous publications and one book during his career Soren is very passionate about his work.
He provides a high level service to patients from the point of consultation to discharge and continues to find ways to improve the patient experience.

Mr. Sjølin has more than 25 years experience of preparing Medico-Legal reports assisting the Courts on a range of orthopaedic conditions, in particular those of the upper limb.
He also has vast experience in dealing with Negligence claims. He regularly attends Medico-Legal seminars and courses, including Annual Attendance at Bond Solon courses and regular attendance at Specialist Into Courses.
Since 2018 he has held the Cardiff University Law School Bond Solon (CUBS) Expert Witness Certificate. Medico-Legal appointments are regularly offered in Norfolk, Suffolk and London. The waiting time for an appointment is 4-6 weeks. The reports are normally dispatched within a week of the appointment unless further investigations are required.
